More About Parque da Corcovada
Completed in 2007 Parque da Corcovada is a complex of a little over 200 one, two and three bedroom apartments, villas and a few shops surrounding the "Globe" roundabout on the east side of Albufeira. See our one bed apartment or two bed apartment as they are just stunning. The reception area is available during working hours for advice and assistance. If you are staying in one of our apartments you can also talk to our excellent local agent based 800 yards away who will be available at all hours during your stay.
Club Corcovada is on site (On the plan right this is L45 in yellow on left) at Parque da Corcovada to serve drinks, meals and many other facilities if you don't fancy going too far. They also have internet available for a small charge. Your rental includes 3 hours free internet at the Funseeker offices about 800 metres from your apartment, ask Alex our agent about this on your arrival.
The apartments have five pool areas with an adults pool and a child's pool, four pool areas are each shared by three apartment blocks and there is a pool at Club Corcovada. The pools are private and have plenty of sun beds, parasols and seating as well as showers and security patrols.
The apartments have been built to an exceptional standard with every convenience you could possibly wish for. Unusually in Portugal they have wooden flooring in hte living areas and bedrooms rather than the cold tiles usually found in this part of the world, far more feet friendly. There are high security door entry systems and multi point locking on the external doors for a feeling of complete safety. All the windows have electric external blinds giving a completely dark room for a fantastic nights sleep. If you like being woken up by the sunshine then you'll need to leave them partly or fully open.
If you have a car then you can use the clearly marked allocated underground parking space for your apartment. There's nothing nicer than getting into a cool car on a hot day. The garage doors are electric remote and the remote will be with your keys. There are stairs and a lift straight from the garage to your apartment making parking a joy.
Both our apartments are fitted with Sky boxes (not a full Sky package) with good UK channel coverage and a high quality 26" flat screen TV. You also have a DVD player if you want to bring your favourite films with you
Hot water is provide by an immersion heater with a capacity for lots of hot water. Shower pressure is excellent and the bathrooms are very luxurious including a plug socket next to a massive mirror for hair dryers, straightening tongs, shavers, etc.
